CATS Academy Boston is excited to announce that one of our students has been accepted to Cornell University, one of the top universities in the world and one of the eight prestigious Ivy League universities.
A passionate STEM student, AJ will be joining Cornell University College of Engineering to pursue a major in either Electrical and Computer Engineering, Applied Mathematics or Artificial Intelligence.
Cornell University is ranked the 16th best university in the world*, with The College of Engineering ranking the 12th top engineering school in the United States**.
AJ’s academic journey 大象影院 Academy Boston has been defined by an extraordinary aptitude for advanced STEM study. During his time at the school, AJ has undertaken the most advanced courseload available 大象影院 Academy Boston, completing fourteen Advanced Placement (AP) courses and five Honors courses.
During Grade 11, AJ returned to his home in Thailand to conduct full-time semiconductor physics research focused on perovskite photovoltaics and radiative-cooling materials, where he contributed to multiple ongoing projects and publications.
Curious, hard-working and ambitious, AJ has dedicated himself to expanding his knowledge in the STEM fields by taking undergraduate and early graduate-level coursework from prestigious educational programs such as the Johns Hopkins University’s Center for Talented Youth, Stanford University’s University-Level Online Math & Physics, Northwestern University Center for Talent Development, and Beaver Works Summer Institute at MIT.
He also signed up for dual enrollment programs under Roger Williams University and Quincy College, as well as one-on-one independent study courses he designed himself 大象影院 Academy Boston.
AJ has worked closely with faculty 大象影院 Academy Boston to ensure his progression, extracurricular responsibilities, and personal growth has remained both rigorous and well-supported.
